Naoshima is a small island in the Japanese Inland Sea, which has become one of the most unique destinations for art lovers and travelers looking for one-of-a-kind experiences

Just three decades ago Naoshima was a sleepy and relatively secluded island, but thanks in large part to an art-loving vision Japanese businessman, it has established itself as one of the world's most attractive art destinations.

No visit to Naoshima would without a stop at the magnificent completely be Chichu Art Museum . The Chichu Art Museum houses a small but fine collection of works by artists such as Claude Monet, James Turrell and Walter De Maria.

For most visitors, the main attraction on Chichu Art Museum is the stunning architecture of the museum itself, designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Getting to Naoshima
