And then it was time, my first tour guide ...
Today is the day. Today I fly to Paris. But this time it is not to lounge on the Seine while drinking wine (OK, it will be something like this). This time it is to lead my first tour for 10 readers and make them even more passionate for the journey.
Back in May, I announced that I led a tour of Europe, and the response was overwhelming. Now, after months of planning, I leave the 10 participants to meet on Sunday, before we enjoy a two-week trip through Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Stockholm.
I can not believe how fast this has come. It seems like yesterday I was telling a friend, "I'm going to organize a tour to Europe. Maybe get a few people."
Well, now it's here and it's time to go.
I am used to play tour guide for my friends, but now I'm doing it for 10 people I've never met. So many thoughts racing through my mind, the biggest being: "I hope I do not mess up."
But seriously, I'm really excited about it. A couple of people have me have never been joining in Europe, and I can not show them, waiting my Europe. I'm going to my favorite attractions (both on and off the beaten path), restaurants, bars, and everything in between.
I'm also on some of my favorite travel companies are taking (including tracks Europe and Context Travel) and Youth (St. Christopher, generator, and City Backpackers), so that is also exciting, as I love the to spread the word of the good travel company.
is incredibly fun.
I have in recent weeks spent reading to any destination, plan my walking tours, make restaurant reservations and more in more details.
after all the traveling, taken've helped and I never thought so much work could go into planning a group trip I. There are a lot of i to the point and t to cross.
So, as I to Paris my flight aboard, I double and triple check I have all itinerary copies, tickets, train reservations and bookings. I am - partially -. A nervous wreck
But I know that this will be a good time, because the people who are reading this page amazing, and for two weeks I get to talk about what I love. Travel
I will be updating as we go to most likely have a far post after the fact, and what I have learned to be a tour guide. You can follow along with all the antics on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
So let the good times, food and wine flow!
See you follow in Europe!
