The Big Apple
During my visits to the US, I always try to take a trip to New York City. a great place to visit only four hours from Boston, New York, for many reasons. Many of my friends live there, so it's a good chance to catch up, and it is always good to eat, to see new shows and to explore new enclaves. New York is so big that no matter how many times I go, I always discover something new.
live One of the best parts at the top of the Eastern United States, is that many of the transport between the different cities there. Competition is fierce, driving prices to down and amenities. My favorite bus to take is the Bolt bus that runs up and down the east coast. Like its counterparts (ie the Megabus) that offers $ 1 rates when you book Bolt bus early enough in advance. But I suppose the Bolt bus for another reason free Wi-Fi. If you go up around the east coast, make sure you use one of these discounted bus. You get a lot of comfort at rock bottom prices. It's a dream for budget travelers.
Now in New York City, I'm here until Thursday. I have planned a few things. For starters, I'm a big dinner with a number of passengers are having tonight: Everything Everywhere, in2travels and two Backpackers. We are all things travel and blogging discuss. the main part of my trip to my However, here playing strength I'll be a tour guide for a friend from Germany. A newcomer to the United States to stop them first in New York City, and who better than them to show NYC than me, a local Bostonian? Prepared for the next few days are some of my favorite things in New York to do City:
Visit Central Park
No trip to the Big Apple without a travel is finished walking through Central Park. It may be large, it can be a little touristy, but it's a good way to unwind and relax on a warm summer day.
The Statue of Liberty / Ellis Iceland
The Statue of Liberty is an impressive sight and a must see for a first visit. Unfortunately tickets for the newly opened Crown are out of stock until September. Fortunately, we have a chance at Ellis Iceland to go. Despite all previous visits to New York City and the fact that my family came through Ellis Iceland, this is the first time visit for me.
Museum Hop
New York is filled with museums, and I plan to fully my host to many of the draw best, including MOMA, the Met, the Museum of Natural History, and any other museum I can remember.
, the Empire State Building
This is a great way to see the size of New York. While I'm afraid of heights, I think if I can defy the tallest building in the world, I can handle it. My friend is interested to see it, so we go, I hope, do not freak out ... too much.
a show catch
New York City is one of the most important theater centers in the world, and I plan to see at least one show. I do not come to the theater as often as I like, so I'll use this chance to see something good. I have not seen Wicked, Jersey Boys and should also be good. The theater in New York as the Opera in Vienna is a must.
food
is a city with a population of 12 million people from around the world that you will find a wide selection of delectable dishes. As foodies, can wait, I'm not in New York to offer all the good restaurants has to explore. There are always open new. So far, Indian, Japanese and Cuban meals are planned, but who knows what is other delicious food make the trip?
