Lost "can go hiking" in a jungle in Costa Rica

"OK, we'll go after lunch" replied my companion.
hours had passed, and I grew anxious. "Let's go! Let's go!" "The day wasted!" We were all to leave on a tour of Costa Rica, Arenal National Park the next day, and I wanted to in a good day around the volcano hiking get. Finally, they agreed we hailed a taxi down, and articles of Arenal National Park.
It was mid-afternoon when we arrived, and I was bitter, we had wasted so much of the day, but when the sun sets over Lake Arenal, we would get from high up on the old lava fields observed. Arenal is active volcano in Costa Rica. During the day, smoke rising into the sky, around a hazy cloud of dust around him to create. On the night of lightning can rot the pages leaked to look down, as nature shows its splendor. Watching it is a sight to see, and occasionally, allow large eruptions tourists to "ooh" and "ahh" over your own fireworks nature. We told our taxi driver we would at the entrance to six back and made our adventure. We wandered off the trail down lave flows, traveled on road through huge lava and followed around strange native animals. Soon it was dark, and we wanted to the lake, in order to see the sunset. With regard to our map, we realized we had no idea which lane we were. After a passerby to ask where we were, we thought we had found our location. Depending on where we thought we were, the way soon ended, and it was a revolution.
instead of doubling back, we decided to stop off and take another track back to the lake, so much to see as we could. Alas, it was not his. Our Passant guide us was misinformed, and soon we were deep in the forest. As the sun to continue, we have lost more and more. We sat down paths until it ends. We doubled back and walked on new paths, but soon we were totally lost. As the day to night become, the mosquitoes came to hunt their victims bewildered and animals came to joke. Then there was us. Our stomachs were hungry, and our flashlights were made batteries. Everything we had a pen torch and the light that had to lead by our cameras.
Our situation, as the sun quickly grew worse by the minute was gone before us and shrouded darkness. Although we were to see nature as it really was, reemerging with hidden animals, no longer afraid of a thousand tourists, our joy was a night to spend by the thought, tempered in the jungle. Our tour group would be right back on a great dinner while we find on the way, fought in the city feasting.
After what seemed an eternity, we found a dirt road. We were not sure where it was, was or the way of the city. The street was on the map, and fortunately a research station was marked on them. But the way was the science station? When we went in the wrong direction, we could pointlessly longer walk. So we have a chance and started walking. Fortunately, it was the right way. Soon we came to the gate, and the guard to inform us we could not call a taxi from there, pointed us back in the other direction, saying the main road was back in the city after a 20-minute walk.
We take the main road. It was empty no cars, no lights. Tired and hungry, we started our long journey home, each of us consider our experience silent. Soon, a car pulled through and picked us up. Suddenly we were revived, to talk and laugh about the whole experience. The mountain, as if to greet us at home, exploded with joy, and we thought, "oohed" and "ahhed" and pictures.
We arrived with our tour group, more than an hour late and still dirty from the forest, looking all at us and ask, "Where are you guys were"
