Cheap places to travel to the US dollar

Cheap places to travel to the US dollar -

us dollars
Note: As of February 2016, the US dollar greatly in Rates in other currencies. Every country in the world has a lot cheaper, especially the countries are listed in this article. To enjoy an even better time to travel and use this country as a guide to generate some ideas!

The US dollar is not what it once was. Although it has gained strength recently due to the ongoing debt crisis in Europe, it has fallen against the Australian, New Zealand and Canadian dollars, as well as almost all other major world currencies. (It fell sharply against the Swedish krona, while I was there this summer!)

The constant traveler, I am very concerned about currency moves as just a Wall Street trader would. Small changes in the value of the dollar can my entire budget wreck. My budget for Australia was $ 1,000 short because the Australian dollar suddenly more got against the dollar.

However, despite the sorry state of the US dollar, the world is still filled with great and cheap places where the dollar goes far. In fact, are places in the world where the dollar has actually increased in value over the past few years. (I know - incredible, is not it?)

Here are some cheap destinations where your money can go far:

Costa Rica

costa rica is a cheap place to travel
Costa Rica is one of the few countries to have their currency losing ground against the dollar. A dollar now gets 539 colones , compared to 360 a few years ago. Although the country is one of the most expensive in Central America is, your money goes a lot further than it used, it is to make a better deal. Costa Rica is a beautiful place and my favorite Central American country. As an added bonus, flights from the United States are also very cheap. I paid $ 400 USD round trip from New York to fly, and you can sometimes get fights as low as $ 300 USD. At the end of cheap, you will need about $ 40 USD per day, while for the mid-range cost you need about USD $ 60. Compared to visit in NYC, Disney, or the Caribbean, Costa Rica is a steal.

Vietnam

vietnam is a cheap place to travel
While I'm not a big fan of Vietnam, it's certainly a cheap country. When I visited prior years, got the US dollar 16,000 dong. Now it's more like 22,000 dong! At that time I was the issuance of $ 8 USD per day, which include cheap flights, local food, transportation, and to drink a little. Of course, the price of goods has there much since I was last increased, but the country is still incredibly low, especially if too many of its neighbors compared. Realistically, if you estimated USD $ 20 per day, you would want for little. The Vietnamese dong is one of the few currencies that has gotten worse against the US dollar in recent years.

Ukraine / Romania / Bulgaria

towns in bulgaria are a cheap place to travel
The actual eastern part of Europe is the cheapest part of Europe. Last year I visited these three countries, and could not believe how low they were. I lived like a king for less than $ 40 USD per day, USD $ 8 per night for a room in Ukraine, $ 1.50 USD for a liter of beer and a few dollars for a local meal paid. When most people think of a European vacation, imagine them Paris, Rome or Prague, but you can here get the same charm without the high prices of the other cities and meet on far fewer tourists. These three countries have some of the best value on the continent

"Central" Central America

tikal is a cheap place to travel
Outside of Costa Rica, the other Central American countries such as El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua are an even better deal. You can get in all these countries, by for less than $ 30 USD per day, and they are a good alternative to touristic and "expensive" countries such as Mexico, Belize, and Costa Rica. They are wonderful historical ruins, jungle, food, and for the people in this part of the world. As the political situation in these countries stabilized, more and more people in order to gather (Nicaragua the new Costa Rica always), go get so while the masses and costs are few.

India

taj mahal is a cheap place to travel
While India has always been a cheap country, the Indian rupee uses high at 39 to ride against the dollar. Now you get 67 to the dollar, almost twice as much! In an already cost country like India, where you can by getting on as little as $ 20 USD per day, that extra money to go a long way. Even if you go for mid-range accommodation and food, you will be hard pressed to spend more than US $ 50 per day, it was to remain for the five-star resorts. While the flights can be expensive if it is all a bargain that long flight makes the historic Taj Mahal, the beaches of Goa, and cities such as New Delhi and Mumbai much more attractive.

Argentina [1945010zusehen]

argentina is a cheap place to travel
Another country whose currency has lost ground against the dollar. The economic depression hit the country hard, the amazing Argentina makes - filled with history, beautiful people, culture, wine, football and outdoor wonders like Patagonia - still worth a visit. Buenos Aires is one of the most vibrant cities in the world, and most people speak English. The only problem with this country is galloping inflation, but also with, you can still get to around 40-50 $ USD by day.

Cambodia

cambodia is a cheap place to travel
Cambodia is one of my favorite countries in the world and I traveled there recently back. The prices have increased a little, but not much. Long buses always cost less than $ 10 USD, meals are $ 03.01 USD, Private rooms are about $ 10 USD, and beer is still 75 cents. Everything works here in US Dollars. ATMs give out, goods are priced in dollars, change dollars get in: it makes quite easy to convert. I find the land cheap, to be clean and safe. Moreover, Angkor Wat is one of the most amazing historical sites of the world.

Greece

greece is a cheap place to travel
has the falling euro Europe as a whole was a lot cheaper than it was before. However, most of the county affected by this crisis is Greece. Now this once cheap land is still a bargain, as it was before. With 10 Euro Hostels, 20 Euro Hotels and 3 Euro Gyros, this country is a steal. They are beautiful islands learn to enjoy beaches and good food at a fraction of the price of other European countries. Moreover, since have caused a huge drop in tourist arrivals, the economic problems, there are fewer tourists at these beautiful beaches! Greece is a bargain destination, and my friends there tell me that the summer season was really bad. Hungary

hungary is a cheap place to travel
Hungary is a beautiful country with a rich history. The capital, Budapest, is a wonderful example of the old European style. Plus, the ruin bars, something totally unique in the city, are the best and most creative bars I've ever known. Hands down the best bar scene in Europe. During the booming economic times of the past decade Hungary was flying high with a growing economy and a strong currency. Now, one dollar gets you 284 Hungarian forint, compared to 150 in 08. large meals in the markets for $ 5 USD can enjoy the trains for USD $ 1, and stay in hotels for $ 20 USD.

South Korea

vietnam is a cheap place to travel
When I went to South Korea earlier this year, I was stunned by how cheap everything was. I had heard that South Korea was a bargain, but in many ways its prices compete those of Southeast Asia. (Won the ) With the South Korean currency at 1,202 per USD and most everything costs only a few thousand won , I can not imagine your budget here busting me. My friend and I went for Korean BBQ complete with drinks, and each of us spent $ 8 USD. You can pick up a dollar in 7-11 for less up bottles of beer. I do not know why most people do not talk about it, but if you want a cheap East Asian country with an impressive landscape, South Korea is.

*******

all provide these countries a different and inexpensive alternative to Europe, Australia or Japan. Western Europe churches it will be 10 years from now, but the jungles of Central America? The rice fields of Asia? The old world in Eastern Europe? Probably not. With a weak dollar, it is time to think, and travel differently and do not select the most obvious target. This will help you stretch your money and travel further and cheaper.
