The 13 best restaurants I have eaten in Las Vegas

The 13 best restaurants I have eaten in Las Vegas -

Las Vegas is a gourmet's paradise that should be no surprise, all the money considering that flows into the city. People want, fantastic meals when they are on holiday, to celebrate a casino win their Vegas wedding celebration, or to let millions fall at the blackjack table. Celebrities and "whales" (the name of Vegas high rollers) want to cook their food top-of-the-line celebrity chefs. Any trip to Las Vegas, I discover even more new and amazing restaurants - from hole-in-the-wall guests to first-class sushi restaurants

is for me in Las Vegas to eat do not always have the Dining on. a budget. I'm not one of them while traveling and saving money are the priorities for me, and I will do to save in Vegas a lot of things, money for food. I want to eat, and I want to eat well. After all, what fun is life if you can afford a world-class meal once in a while, but do not enjoy it?

So after three visits to Las Vegas, here are my favorite restaurants (so far)

Firefly (300 Paradise Rd.)
Firefly in Las Vegas serves famous dates wrapped in bacon that are delicious
This place is famous among Vegas locals and is a popular dinner / happy hour spot after work. There are two locations in the city, and one of the listed above is about five minutes by taxi from the Strip. His signature dish is wrapped in bacon dates with blue cheese that is as awesome as it sounds. The white sangria here is also very flavorful and thirst-quenching, with just the right mixture of wine and fruit.

The Peppermill (2985 Las Vegas Boulevard South)
People watching in The Peppermill, in Las Vegas
there is something about The Peppermill that screams "old, cheesy Vegas." Perhaps it is to drink buckets of brandy at noon the neon means, the fact that it is a diner, or the people. Go to the Peppermill was like in 1978 feet, and I loved every second of it. The food is not great - typical oversized portions heart clogging diner food - but the people-watching opportunity, here is the best. There are so many interesting groups. Their way through here, that I can see why this place is a Vegas institution

American Fish (Aria Resort and Casino)
A circular seafood platter at American Fish, a great restaurants
I love seafood. I probably mention often enough to make it, you know on this blog something from the sea with fine. Like all casino restaurants in Las Vegas, the decor at American Fish is excellent, and everything is very classy and beautiful. If you are looking for a world-class seafood meal, this is the right place. I loved the seafood platter, the caviar, and the rainbow trout which was cooked opened perfection.

Nobu (Hard Rock Casino)
A single piece of sushi served on a wooden platter at Nobu, in Las Vegas
I 'already in many Nobu locations around the world, and which one is the best in Vegas. Nobu is an excellent sushi chain, and the quality of the fish is always top notch. What I like about Nobu is that they have a wide variety of fish usually do not bid on the menu at "normal" sushi restaurants to see, so there is always to try something unique. The Vegas location is quite small, but unlike many other Nobu locations, you do not need reservations.

Yellowtail (The Bellagio)
The Yellowtail serves the best colorful plate of sushi at the Bellagio
Probably the second best sushi restaurant in Las Vegas, Yellowtail is a Japanese fusion restaurant in Bellagio. It's pretty much sushi here, unlike Nobu, which offers other Japanese dishes. There are a few non-sushi appetizers and dishes, but you really come for the wonderful sushi at Yellowtail. The decor is just amazing, and the open space allows you to watch people walk.

Aureole (Mandalay Bay)
Aureole serves some of the best wine from it's cellar at Mandalay Bay
What I love about Aureole is the four-story glass wine tower, to fetch "wine fairies" on cable and down's bottles of wine , As with all casino restaurants, the food is delicious. They serve modern American food here, but I really visit because I enjoy sailing through the air to watch the people as they get bottles of wine. I wonder how much I have to spend in Mandalay before they let me do that!

Otto (Palazzo)
A sausage pizza Otto in the Palazzo in Las Vegas
Otto is Mario Batali pizza place in Palazzo. It is not a greasy piece of New York pizza, but this chef really knows his stuff. There is also a wide selection of antipasti and salads if pizza is not your thing. Otto also offers "outdoor" restaurants that you all go past you through the fake Venice to be allowed to see. I still dream to go there and to see Mario twirl my pizza in the air, but until then I'll drown my disappointment with my face to stuff.

Sirio (Aria Resort and Casino)
An amazing plate of cheese, breadsticks and Italian food served at Siro
The food in this restaurant is some of the best Italian I've ever had (outside of Italy, of course). Think simply makes about Antipastiteller I had there my mouth water. The pasta is homemade, flavorful and served in huge portions. I found the food here very traditional to be Italian, that's great -. You should not a good thing

lemongrass (Aria Resort and Casino)
Lemongrass at the Aria Resort has a fantastic simple interior and lighting scheme
As someone who has lived in Thailand, I take very seriously Thai- Eat. There are very few places that come close to meeting my expectations, and I always walk with different levels of disappointment on foot. But I liked Lemongrass - probably because the chefs are actually Thai and know what they are doing. In fact, I was impressed that they could make a good iced tea Thai. While nothing will be as good as in Thailand to eat, I went from my meal at Lemongrass away less disappointed than I am normally.

Bellagio Buffett (The Bellagio)
Many different desserts on display at the Bellagio Buffet
I've been three buffets in Las Vegas and have to say that I, the one at the Bellagio like best. The selection is huge, the food is delicious, the price is right. You can get everything from breakfast to salads to king crab sushi sandwiches and everything in between. (I personally love the French toast here.) Really, what else you need, but followed by eggs at 3am Sushi of French toast followed? Not much!

More good buffets in Vegas include Paris, Aria and Monte Carlo.

Milos (Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino)
Food from Milos in the Cosmopolitan, one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas
This Greek and Mediterranean restaurant has an excellent selection of food and Greek wine. There is a large emphasis on fish here, but honestly, there is a great emphasis on fish anywhere in Vegas. (Perhaps they're making up for the lack of water?) In addition to the fish do, there is a limited selection of very traditional Greek cuisine that comes too close to what I ate in Greece.

Bouchon (The Venetian)
The entrance to Bouchon, a great French restaurant in the Venetian hotel
Bouchon is a French Bistro at the Venetian Casino. The food was incredibly delicious. I had a great roast chicken with escargot. It was my first time with escargot, so I do not have everything there to compare, but what I had was delicious. I was nervous, but it turns out, escargot is pretty good! (I was not brave enough for the frog legs, though.) I also had a delicious salmon pâté. While the food and wine were excellent - as of a place this was to be expected swanky - the service was what really set this device apart for me. My server was very attentive, helpful and accommodating. I do not know much about French food, and to tell him what I did not want to try, he has only brought food for me. This place has allegedly also try a killer brunch, which I will on my next visit.

Sushi Mon (9770 S. Maryland Pkwy.)
Sushi Mon is far from the Strip, and you'll need a car to get here. But if you can make it here, you will find cheap and delicious sushi and other Japanese food. I know there are a lot of sushi on this list already, but this place is the local authority Vegas. They have a ton roller combinations (you can full or half orders received), and they offer all-you-can-eat sushi for lunch and dinner. This restaurant is a gem and has the best value for your money in Vegas. has

This is only a handful of restaurants in Las Vegas has to offer. Although I do a lot of eating, while I'm there, I have scratched the surface hardly in Vegas to eat, and I will be frequently update this list. But now, when you without knowing in Vegas, where to eat, I recommend using one of these restaurants begin.
