The Fjords of Norway
I always see fjords wanted. They are supposedly beautiful and unnerving breathtaking. And as the word is cool. I mean, only speak the word f j o r d. It sounds so cool. I just like to say. Fjord. Fjord. Fjord.
And when I plan my trip to Norway, the only thing I have the Tourism Authority promise me was that my journey would involve a lot of time in the fjord area. to see the fjords was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Not all my life, but my travel life. (After all, when I was younger, I did not like to travel.) After 48 hours Oslo, I took the train through the mountains on the scenic Rauma Line and arrived in Ă…lesund, the gate to the fjord area. It is about a six hour drive there through the mountains. Although fog, were clouds, and rain all the time, the area was spectacular. And the next seven days to spend the fjords to Bergen Boating down is certainly one of the highlights of all my travels. It is so good.
I could sit here and describe the fjords to you, terms like majestic, original, beautiful, great, etc. But exactly with so much natural beauty pot not like in the Galapagos Islands, a place be described in words. I'll just show you pictures.
Alesund Fjord
Historic houses in the old Alesund
Ă…lesund Fjord in the ocean draining
Geiranger Fjord
Some city fjord
Alesund Fjord

Sunnylvs Fjord
the fjords were one of the most dramatic natural things I've ever seen. They lived up to the hype, and one day I'll go back (if sunny) and make the many trails I have not get a chance to do at this time.
The editorial Note: Norway My journey through Norway Tourism was paid. They paid for everything, but my meals.
