Three Off the Beaten Path Places in China
China is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Its home to a rich culture, a few millennia of history, good food, major historical sites and more than 1.3 billion people. Most tourists head for the famous tourist attractions - the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Warriors, the Shaolin Temple, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. While they are all amazing (and amazingly full), there is much more to China than these crowded tourist attractions.
China has amazing beauty areas that are large in order to escape, even if the path leading to them isn 't how dejected by throngs of tourists. help these three places, enjoy the historical and natural wonders of China without the Disney World Crowds:
The Longmen Caves
The Longmen Cave has an extensive collection of Buddhas near Luoyang. Although still popular, there is more room to breathe and natural landscape as in other tourist areas of China. Thousands of Buddhas, of neck cranes giant statues on the thumbnail size are those carved in cliffs along the Yi River. From a distance, sees the cliff like a honeycomb network. On the opposite side of the river from the giant Buddha a romantic tea house in the woods is hidden to provide a break beside a stream weary travelers. The page is very cheap at 40 RMB.
Miss the Xi'an City Wall is not
The oldest and most well-kept city walls in China's Xi'an, a modern city with a lively and chaotic nocturnal carnival. The red lantern-lined wall overlooking the traditional Chinese building with towers every 100 meters or so, and you feel like you're really in China and are not a whitewashed tourist attraction. Start your tour before sunset, and you will drive in a position when the lights to lead along the wall and the lanterns light the way in the dark.
Song Mountain
Fans of the movie Kung Fu is the Shaolin Temple know well. Unfortunately, almost all of the original temple was destroyed and sharing these faux site with hordes of tourists. But is in the vicinity and in the Shaolin ticket, is a holy of China Mountains - Song Mountain. To reach the mountain, you need to take a 60 RMB elevator, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Once on the mountain, you can walk around cliffs where stacked rocks look like dominoes to collapse to each other. You can enjoy excellent views of the Cloud-capped mountains get that look in the jungle. And the best part? It is an easy hike, which you can explore not leave any excuses.
Do not fall only to be seen in the case of the "must-see" sites in China. In such an old and large country, the secondary sites can give you the same feeling of China's astonishing history and natural beauty without the crowds, noise, waste, and lines. They are a better and more relaxed experience.
