My favorite travel company
I think many of my posts, while in the shower. This came just ten minutes ago while I get fresh and clean. Instead of sitting on it, I'd thought I'd write it now before I forgot all funny things I wanted to say. Everyone has their own favorite travel businesses- businesses that we always use products that we never travel without. Here are my favorites:
Travel Insurance
For a travel insurance, I always use World Nomads. This is not only because I have a banner for them, but because I like their services (which is why I have their banner up). I do all online- ordering is easy, simple and everything is sent to my home. No fuss, no mess. But I also like how they cope with the travelers. They make a huge effort with an online travel community to connect, competitions and freebies are always running, and even a cool blog. Your online guy, Chris Noble is very cool, also.
guide
I'm a pretty lazy guy and so when I start a brand, I rarely change, which is why I tend to use guide for most of my Lonely Planet Travel , I rarely use but these days Guide. After 2 years on the road, I can do without it. I had one last summer for Europe and opened it twice. However, when I use it, I use LP or Rough Guides. I tend to use it for anywhere else LP for Europe and Asia, and Rough Guides. I do not know why. I just think it works just fine.
travel discount cards
Every time I need a discount card, I'm going to STA Travel, although I am not a student. You have all the cards because, even those for people who are not students. If you find yourself in Bangkok, you can fake buy, but for $ 15 US dollars it costs to get a VIP, ISIC, IYIC, or whatever funky card that I need, I'll get the real. You saved me bundles.
travel credit card
I have a Citi Premier Pass Card. They changed recently their rules, requiring you to spend an equal amount of money to get your miles, so that the card useless. With the redemption rules changed on my Premier Pass Card, I switched to Citi AAdvantage card. Now I earn miles for Americans, but it is me in the Oneworld system that JAL has my favorite airline. But I hate AA. In fact, I would rather fly Air Canada as AA, and I would rather fly than walk Air Canada that do not say much for Americans. But this card is the only way to get cheap JAL flights. had to be sacrificial.
Online Travel Bulletin Board
Boots N'all. While I love Lonely Planet, it sucks Thorn Tree Forum. It is staffed with many useless and asinine points. Riveting posts like "Can I an ATM card abroad?" Or "Where can I cash?", Or my favorite, "Hey, I landed in country X! I'm so excited!" After unsubscribe through the pages of this scroll, I get frustrated and. not see Boots N 'All not so much traffic, but the questions are good and relevant, the answers are useful, the people are nice, and it's a bit more organized. If you want a board Forum for long-term travelers, use boots.

My REI backpack Mars has now gone much more than two years. It looks and works as good as the day I bought it. With products that is good, I would not pull from elsewhere consider buying.
