What I Over the years I have played in my pocket changed a lot for my travel pack -

Packing a Backpack. Most of this change has to do with the fact that I now carry a lot of gear to blogging related, but it also reflects the fact that I have learned a lot about the package, since I first came to the streets in 06. And while many sites have packing lists, I would like all my previous posts in this thread to connect (there are about three) in an updated post that reflects on my current views of what people should pack in their journey.

First, the short answer to what you should pack: take as little as possible . I take only the essentials, and if I really need something, I buy it. It is not so hard to find medicine, clothing, or an umbrella abroad. I also try during my travels in the same climate to stay to avoid many different clothes to wear. I do not want to drag sweater to Thailand!

but can change plans, and when that happens, I buy a light jacket. I hold it until it is a load and then I have to leave it behind. The more I travel, the more I realize I do not need a lot of stuff. Everything I own fits in a backpack. Packing light is a cliché, but one that has a lot of truth to it.

But the long answer to what you should pack? Well, below is proposed me packing list:

clothes
1 dress shirt for when I go to a respectable place in the evening
1 pair of jeans (you can be difficult and not easily dried, but I wear them a lot. can be a good alternative khaki pants.)
1 pair of shorts
1 swimsuit
6 t-shirts
1 long ~~ POS = TRUNC t- shirt
1 pair of flip flops
1 pair of sneakers
put 8 pairs of socks
1 pair of black dress socks
1 pair of shoes (heavy to carry, but when I visit local friends in we usually somewhere not sneaker friendly)
7 pair Boxer Shorts
1 towel

TOILETRIES
1 toothbrush
1 go toothpaste
1 shaver
1 package floss
1 small bottle of shampoo
1 small bottle of shower gel
hair gel so I can here hold between haircuts
Comb
Deodorant

sMALL MEDICAL KIT
band-Aids
hydrocortisone cream
antibacterial cream
Eyedrops
Earplugs
doctor-prescribed antibiotics
Tylenol
hand sanitizer

GEAR (for those blogging, take videos or anything else)
laptop
Nikon camera
iPhone [1945006Stativ]
Wireless Microphones
Universal power adapter

oTHER
A key or combination lock (each should have these, too!)
Zip-top bags
plastic

The special tip: buy a small backpack, so you will not be tempted to overpack. We may unconsciously to fill empty space, so if you have a large bag, you are more likely so that you are wasting on the outer packaging, no place.

I have found that this list makes me nothing to be desired. I'm sure many of you reading this and say, "But what about X" Or "You do not really need Y." Well, that works for you, and this list works for me. Customize your list to meet your travels.

I do not write this post because I think it is a perfect way, but to pack to answer a recurring question of what I pack and why. I have touched on this issue not more than three years, and people are always asking me, "What should I pack when I go away?" This is my guideline is and fits my "hunt the summer, living in hostels" lifestyle.

But the real point I want to emphasize that you do not really need a lot when you are traveling. Before I go on a trip, I write a list of what I think I need will and then cut in half. You will never have as much as you think.

At the end there is never a final packing list. Everyone has different needs. My list suits my needs. It is not fit for you maybe.
