My current list of favorite travel blogs
I will not lie: I think I have a pretty good travel blog. You probably do well if you read it. I work hard to provide excellent practical travel tips to help you travel better, but I'm not the only major travel bloggers out there. Is that I am not an expert, there is much about traveling - in fact - and I know this is could be shocking. Traveling with the family? No idea. Traveling as a woman? Clueless. Information about hotels? Just a bit. Photography? I can turn on my camera manage if that counts. Food expert? Only to eat.
I have realized that there about two years since I talked about websites I love the last time, so I wanted to take a moment and highlight some of my favorite travel blogs, which can also help you travel better. There are so many good blogs out there, I feel like I'm long overdue to show some of them:
Legal Nomads
Apart that one of my favorite people in the world, Jodi is also a damn amazing blogger who frequently writes about food and culture. She devotes much time to eat on the street, under mouthwatering photos that make me jealous of their ability to do so. A former lawyer, she also writes a series "Thrill Able hours" called on other lawyers who gave up being a corporate lackey for life on the road.
The Points Guy
Brian Kelly is the bonus points expert. I know a lot about rewards points, but this is a type of out hours, the monetary value of points to spend, which programs are the best, and crunch all the numbers. Forget "travel hacker", this guy is a trip Hacker assistant . When I'm lost or trying to understand a new change in the membership programs, I move to him.
Uncornered market
If there is a competition for the best travel blog, I would tell everyone to vote for me. Then I would go vote for Audrey and Dan. They tell stories heartwarming and take incredible, out-of-this-world photos. My blog focuses on the cultural tour and sustainability issues (they even work with the UN Global Sustainable Tourism Council). I focus on the nuts and bolts go places, while they focus on the people. They are simply great storyteller.
Nerd Fitness
Steve Kamb is a huge nerd. Then again, I am, and we spend hours comic books and Diablo 3 talk to Google Chat. He is also a big fitness buff. Years ago, he decided the two and develop its site as a way to bring to combine Nerds in shape. He also loves to travel and has developed some amazing techniques without the need for a gym to stay in shape on the road. His techniques are inspired and helped me stay healthier while I travel.
The Holiday Required
Canaan and Kent make the dynamic duo that most travel bloggers favorite dynamic duo. You blog about anything - to go digital nomading, to random entries about her life, and everything in between. You is a personal blog with a travel aspect. They are funny, smart and witty. Plus, they share my love Vegas, something not to like!
Alex in walking
I met years ago Alex in New York City and we have friends ever since. The author of the article about diving in Koh Tao, Alex is a photographer, graphic designer, travel lovers and diving specialist currently roaming States. Your blog features great photos, diving tips, travel stories, and a biting and self-deprecating humor. In addition, I helped pick out her blog name so that it is difficult not to love it.
Kirsten Alana
Kirsten is a great photographer, who is an expert to take photos with an iPhone. If you are a fan of my Facebook page, you will have seen some of their work - I often share their photos. Their website is filled with excellent tips on taking pictures and wonderful photos. I wish I had a tenth of the photographer is it.
Unbravegirl
Sally Thelen in 07 to leave their homes in Japan to teach. a series of odd jobs around Asia, it is now on the way home from teaching in China, looking for new adventures After taking. She writes with a funny, sarcastic and biting wit about life in China, cats and everything in between. It's funny, it's smart and it's interesting. All you can ask in a blog.
The Everywhereist
Voted one of the best blogs of 2011 by time magazine, Geraldine witty blog follows her love of travel and food , Many of their contributions are quirky and strange destinations, and humorous observations about life and people. In addition, her tone hilariously amusing, and with posts like this about 50 Shades of Grey , it is easy to see why it has been awarded by time .
So go read, enjoy, laugh, and be inspired.
