In recent weeks I have gained a lot of new readers through a variety of conferences and many guest posts around the web. As I go on vacation this week, I wanted to take some time to say hello to all the new readers of this site and let them get to know a little about me and the site.
What Nomadic Matt is all about?
In 05 on a trip to Thailand, changed my whole life. I met five backpackers who showed me that I had not become my job tied or be rich to travel. As? Through existing straight. I've never had the opportunity to long-term travel considered before I met her. I knew it was for me.

People always tell me how much they would love to travel, to do what I do, even if only for a little while. I am here to tell you that you can. I am here to show you how you can . Travel need not be expensive. Forget what the magazines say about travel and that "budget" hotel per night $ 100 USD! I'm living proof they are all wrong. If I can be a lazy guy from Boston, make this trip something affordable and work for me, you can too!
