Airline reviewed Air Canada
During my recent experience flying the friendly skies, I was "lucky" to be on Air Canada. If you are not getting Air Canada flew, you are not missing much really. Prior to this experience I had flown Air Canada to Vancouver once, but that was a few years ago before the advent of personal video screens and deluxe economy.
Since Air Canada was to get the cheapest way to London, I decided it was time to try again to the airline. I can not say that they I have ever flown the worst airline, but they are certainly not the best.
havenot get My journey to a good start, we stuck on the runway remained for an additional hour in Boston. Connection via Montreal, I met some pretty rude Quebec officials at the airport. None of these things are really the fault of Air Canada, but they set the tone for the entire trip.
When I boarded the plane, I asked a flight attendant what was the food. She screamed that she did not know, and she was busy, she would have to tell me later. Whoa! I thought it would be something they would know from the top of her head. not treasures. Later in the flight, she walked over and gave me a dirty look, but still do not know the dinner meal
Then I was with the most absolute horror was beaten on a long-haul flight to experience. No personal video monitor. Okay! Air Canada operates aircraft that have not personal video monitors and only feature films on a large screen that can be seen too far away for you. Fortunately, it was a night flight, so I wanted to sleep. But it annoys me still.
And as for dinner, there was some chicken that did not really taste like chicken. I never airline food expected to be good, but it was like a bad microwaveable meal.
The flight home was no better. The aircraft had again no personal video monitors, they played only two films on an eight-hour flight (and they cut the last 30 minutes short!), And the secret chicken was back, but this time with secret rice pilaf. But the steward were slightly friendlier than on the earlier flight.
But for me, the deal breaker is the lack of video monitors. If I do not choose between movies and TV on my flight, I would prefer not to fly, especially on those long-haul flights, and especially when the films they play do cut short.
It is now expected that long ~~ POS = TRUNC abroad will have personal video monitors. The lack of them is the big reason why I would not fly Air Canada again. A stewardess she said many of its aircraft have been improved and would have planes that personal monitors by midsummer, .
It makes me but wonder about the reasons the Air Canada execs. I dislike completely Air Canada, but I will not consider when to fly overseas. There are too many other, better options.
The next time I'll probably fly Virgin. I've heard about them good things.
