How

How - the Greek islands to explore

to Greece Most trips tends to the Greek islands and for good reason-they are beautiful, cheap, relaxing, exciting to concentrate, and I mention beautiful? It was always a dream of mine to spend a summer, slowly move from island to island, retains the character of each while also know on a large tan work. This summer, I'd planned to do just that, but like all the best plans, it did not work and I have only three weeks around the Cyclades archipelago. Nevertheless, is three weeks in the Greek islands, which is not too bad of a deal (and I got a good tan!) I visited four islands. Ios, Paros, Mykonos and Santorini

Ios
The beautiful landscape of the island of Ios
As you know from my last post, I spent most of the time here. I fell in love with the people here and just could not leave. While the island is not the best of the group, it is cheapest. Since the majority of people here are young travelers come with a limited budget, you can easily find cheap food (two euro gyros), property (10 Euro per night) and drink specials (one-euro surplus, two 5 € Drinks) . There is only one main town of Ios, and it is easy to walk around, only about 10 minutes from end to end. However, even if with hikers out you hang unresponsive, Ios has the best beaches of all the islands that I visited. All of them wide, white sandy beaches and on the opposite side of the island, they are deserted.

Paros
The lush green fields on the Greek island of Paros
Outside of Ios, Paros was my favorite island. While there are a few ruins, a den, and a boat trip, you can take a total of this island is for those who just want to relax. There is no night life, no crowds, no cruise ships in the harbor dock. It is quiet. Quiet is the word I would use. More importantly, I thought that was the most beautiful island in the group. The mountains and valleys to it had more color, the cities looked beautiful, and the views were spectacular. The island was simply remarkable and cheerful. My favorite section? The port of Naoussa. In addition to delicious and inexpensive seafood has, it was a simply stunning place to walk around. There is a small beach, and you can go to an old fort. Sitting on the breakers to watch the fishing boats in and out is a great way to spend some time.

Mykonos

One of the major tourist destinations in Greece, this island attracts cruises, families and honeymooning couples. It was the most expensive island that I visited. The night I went for seafood the standard price was 75 euros per kilo for the fish! On Ios, you can get a whole fish for 30 euros. The clubs require a high coverage (20 euros), and the drinks are about seven to eight euros. Even a light dinner of pasta and wine cost me more than 20 euros. While I was thinking the island beautiful, was the real highlight of the city. Of the four islands that I visit-ed, Mykonos the most beautiful city, with its quiet, narrow streets and small alleys lined with white houses overlooks the harbor. Mykonos is known for its "Little Venice", although beautiful, is nothing more than a row of houses on the water. It was a nice place, but I'm not sure if I would go back.

Santorini
The blue roofs on the island of Santorini which is famous for its volcano and Caldera
How Mykonos, Santorini is very famous, sees a lot of older tourists, and is a frequent stop for cruise ships. The cliffs and towns of Oia and Fira are the two main cities on the inner side of the island. Both towns overlooking the famous caldera. Both cities offer great views of the sunset and angle photos of Blue-tip to get churches and blue-rimmed houses. Either of the town, take day trips to the ancient volcano, making riding a donkey, and relax in the hot mud baths. Near the beach of Perissa's find bars and hostels that younger travelers often. The beach area gets a lot of visitors and sun, but has black sand, not white sand. Santorini has the best restaurants of the four islands, and I would like to explore more the ancient ruins and cliffs.

Unfortunately, I got to, I would not see some of the other islands hoping to see how Naxos, Rhodes, Crete and Kos. But one day I will return to explore it. As a lover of history, I am particularly keen to see the Minoan ruins on the island. But now I'll settle for what I saw. The Greek islands may have the same look on the surface, with its white buildings and similar landscapes, but each island is different, there is something for everyone.
