Diving the Great Barrier Reef

Diving the Great Barrier Reef -

Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the best diving in the world. Running up and down the east coast of Queensland in Australia, there are tons of fish and beautiful, vibrant coral seen dotting. I was excited to use my newly acquired diving skills and dive this reef. You always hear how great it is, and I wanted to see it firsthand. When diving, I got a shark, turtle, to see a jet, and take a big fish right next to me a hut. It was all an interesting experience:

Tips for diving the Great Barrier Reef

  • Make sure that you go with a company that has many diving licenses. This enables them to choose the best dive site, based on the same conditions and changes reefs, if one could be too popular. I went to the Tusa T5 and they have 15 dive sites, which is obviously the most of any company in Cairns.
  • Although Cairns is the most popular jumping off spot so that Port Douglas, Townsville, or Cape York will get a lot less touristy parts of the reef, remain better preserved.
  • Dives cost between 169- $ 250 AUD.
  • Even if you do not want to dive most dive trips, leave the reef come and snorkel.
  • If you have most of the larger boats some rent any diving camera have ,.

I think that diving on the west coast of Australia is better. The Ningaloo reef has a lot more fish and the reef is immaculate. However, the Great Barrier Reef like nothing I've ever seen, and if you from the fields away, where all the day trips go, you will find a very quiet environment
