big question, Dominic
As with London, New York and other major cities, Tokyo is with great neighborhoods packed up! - And things always change. And of course, everyone has their own opinion about what Tokio best areas are added
But actually, this is a light for me. My favorite district in Tokyo are Shimokitazawa Naka- Meguro and Ebisu .
While none of these areas are totally off the beaten path, they have to spend all great places time. And while it does not really hidden, still most travelers on renouncing

Shimokitazawa is the alternative the group.
In addition Hipster, you are hippies, rockers, and all kinds of people who do not fit into the Japanese mainstream throughout.
Shimokitazawa is easy to get and with restaurants, cafes, boutiques, bars and small music venues is crowded.
Naka-Meguro

Naka-Meguro is no secret either - yet most people who spend a short time in Tokyo never here either make
the best part about Naka. -Meguro Is the cherry blossom tree lined canal. It is quiet and a great place for a day walk, run or ride a bike.
There are some really good restaurants here, and during cherry blossom season the tree-lined canal area fills with people grilling and under the Party beautiful cherry canopy
Tip :. For high fashion, and the adjacent neighborhood of Daikanyama visit that is of amazing fashion boutiques and some of the most stylish of Tokyo people fully
Ebisu

Actually Ebisu is the least hidden. the three - it's located right by Shibuya on the Yamanote Line, Tokyo loop line - but it is often skipped traveler in favor of more tourist areas
Ebisu is a stylish area, but more than anything it is an astonishingly. Area for eating and drinking. It is especially well-heeled locals with a good mix of expats and is a great place for a lively meal with a few drinks
